The anti-tobacco resolution was passed with ease, although its supporters state that it was no small feat.
“We didn’t realize how quickly this would all go,” said Shannon Jacobs, administrator of the Santa Rosa County Health Department. “We were prepared to answer some tough questions. This is the first resolution of its kind that we know of, but I hope it will be a benchmark for future policies.”
