NJROTC announces cadets of the month

Navarre High School’s Raider Battalion Cadets of the Month for November are Junior Cadet Angela Cho and Senior Cadet Cody Grogan.

 Both were nominated by their platoon leaders based on their leadership skills, Navy Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps knowledge and dedication to the NJROTC program.

Cadet Second Class Petty Officer Grogan is a squad leader in 1st Platoon and a member of the battalion’s armed exhibition team. He is authorized to wear the distinguished unit, participation, sea cruise, community service, unit service and drill team ribbons.

Cadet Seaman Apprentice Cho is authorized to wear the program’s physical fitness ribbon with gold lamp and the unit’s gold aiguillette for academic excellence. She is a member of the NS1 drill team and the battalion’s physical fitness team. She also competed this year as a member of the school’s cross country team.

Both cadets were presented with certificates of appreciation, unit coins and two movie passes.
