Schools boost Honor Flight funds

Schools in the area were not initially a part of the effort to raise money for Emerald Coast Honor Flight. Now they are vital.

Emerald Coast Honor Flight is a nonprofit organization honoring America’s World War II veterans for their sacrifices. Veterans from Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Washington and Holmes counties fly to Washington, D.C., for a one-day free visit highlighted by a visit to their memorial.
