District adopts new policies, makes appointments

As the new superintendent of schools, Tim Wyrosdick, led his first school board meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18, policies and appointments were made.

“I make a motion to adopt Gov. Charlie Crist’s proclamation of making the month of November  ‘Florida Parental Involvement in Education Month.’”
His proclamation states, “Family involvement in a child’s learning is critical to student success from preschool through college and sets the foundation for preparing Florida’s students to be life-long learners and meaningful contributors to society.”
