Northwest Florida accepts tuition challenge

Northwest Florida State College accepted Gov. Rick Scott’s challenge to create a $10,000 bachelor’s degree program.

Scott issued the challenge in November 2012, stating “I am issuing a challenge to our state to find innovative ways to offers a bachelor’s degree at a cost of just $10,000 in fields that will provide graduates with the best opportunity for employment.”
