Spencer’s high-tech style yields engaged learning

Kristina Spencer, fourth-grade teacher at Holley-Navarre Intermediate School, stays on the cutting edge of technology and teaching tools to keep her students interested and engaged in learning.

It was her willingness to go the extra mile that earned her the title of the school’s Teacher of the Year. Her colleague Amber Boisvert has worked next door to Spencer for about four years now and is always willing to lend a hand.

“She is very enthusiastic about all kinds of technology and bringing that to our school,” Boisvert said.
