Camp is the mother of invention

Lillian Jones, Katie Ballard, and Roman Kennedy demonstrate their invention, Splat, at Camp Invention, a weeklong science and technology based camp held at Holley Navarre Intermediate School.

Children from around Navarre learned that robotics and building machinery can be a fun, integral part of their education at Camp Invention, a unique program designed to blend creativity with science and technology.

Victoria Ballard of Navarre teaches online courses at Skagit Valley College in Washington and organized Camp Invention at Holley-Navarre Intermediate School. 

“Camp Invention is such a unique sort of camp that benefits the campers in so many more ways than most camps,” Ballard said.
