Wyrosdick cleared of election wrongdoing

Civil charges will not be filed against Superintendent of Schools Tim Wyrosdick after the Florida Election Commission found insufficient evidence to begin investigating complaints filed by Dr. George McCormick.

McCormick, a Gulf Breeze High School teacher who pre-filed to run for superintendent against incumbent Wyrosdick, alleged in January that Wyrosdick put undue pressure on school district employees to support his campaign for re-election and that he did so while on county time.
