Screenshots from the WBMS iBook ‘Creatures, Plants and More! A Kid’s Guide to Northwest Florida’ illustrate the hard work and effort of Andrea Santilli’s seventh-grade advanced life science students.

Students in Andrea Santilli’s seventh-grade advanced life science classes can now add published author to their list of achievements in the 2011 – 2012 school year.

Santilli assisted her students in publishing the book “Creatures, Plants and More! A Kid’s Guide to Northwest Florida,” which is currently No. 1 on the iTunes’s free books list in the science and nature category.

Students completed all the work in the six-chapter book, including photography, video and essays on the wildlife that surrounds them.
