School board candidates vie for office

Candidates for the Santa Rosa County School Board addressed members of the Santa Rosa Federated Republican Women during their monthly meeting on March 27.

Incumbent Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick, District 2 school board candidates Hugh Winkles and Joe Pool, and District 4 candidates William Bledsoe, Jenny Granse and Charles Elliott each gave five minute presentations to the crowd before the floor was opened up for questions. Both District 2 and 4 are in the north end of the county, but elections are held county wide.
