Teacher of the Year semifinalists announced

Navarre area teachers make up four out of five semifinalists still in the running for the title of Santa Rosa County School district’s Teacher of the Year.

The Santa Rosa Education Foundation announced today that Kelly Rohan at Holley-Navarre Intermediate, Dianne Lewis at Jay Elementary, Kenneth Long at West Navarre Intermediate, Shawn Wilcox at West Navarre Primary and Jeffery Baugus at Woodlawn Beach Middle are the semifinalists for the award.

The SREF Teacher of the Year Selection Committee, which consists of administrators, business and community leaders, parents, and former Santa Rosa Teachers of the Year, will observe the semifinalists in their classrooms and conduct interviews before selecting three finalists later this month.
