William Vaughn has had a story in his head for a number of years, waiting to be put to paper. His vision was realized this year with the publication of "The Owl Wrangler," a tale of a clan of forest elves, and one young elf named Hisbil who is trying to find his place.
Vaughn went to Holley Navarre Intermediate School on Nov. 18 to visit with the students and discuss different styles of writing and what writers do.
The third and fifth grade students were treated to an assembly with Vaughn where he gave them details about the plot of "The Owl Wrangler."
