Students re-enact first Thanksgiving

Squanto and his tribesmen greet the Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock in a display of good will and peace.
Jenny Thomas’ first-grade students at West Navarre Primary School performed a play depicting the first Thanksgiving to the delight of their fellow students, parents and teachers on Nov. 18. Students had a history lesson they will never forget by dressing up as pilgrims and American Indians and even recreating Plymouth Rock on stage.
