Pensacola State College is putting the finishing touches on their new South Santa Rosa Center, an environmentally friendly, $9.4 million state of the art campus.
The new campus is located on 110 acres of land south of U.S. Highway 98 at Nantahala Beach Road. Designed to be a one-stop shopping experience in higher education, students will be able to modify any aspect of their college experience from the new building.
The South Santa Rosa Campus will house 10 classrooms, two of which can be divided into smaller rooms, and two science labs. In addition, there will also be a library, bookstore, financial aid and bursar's offices, a full time security staff office, and testing facilities, according to Diane Baxter, Director of Facilities Planning and Construction for PSC.
