West Navarre Intermediate School recently held their fifth annual speech contest as part of the 4-H Tropicana Public Speaking Program. Approximately 600 students participated at the classroom level.
Assistant Principal David Crissy worked to secure the judges for the event, former educators from Santa Rosa County, and discussed his personal commitment to helping students learn the art of public speaking.
“I am a firm supporter of the power of public speaking. It’s integral to people’s success,” Crissy said.
