Eighth grade students got an extra treat on April 15 when Department of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences Chef Justin Timineri came to help students learn more about healthy eating habits through the Xtreme Cuisine program.
Designed by the Florida Department of Agriculture, Xtreme Cuisine helps students learn more about Florida produce and promotes cooking and nutrition. Santa Rosa County was designated a “Top Performer” by the state DoA and hosted two Xtreme Cuisine events in the county.
