When it comes to performing and singing for a crowd, area choirs are superior and they have the credentials to prove it. But they don’t rely on talent solely to get recognized, they also reach out to the community.
The Navarre High School has a number of chorus moms, according to Caroline Buechner, choral director at NHS, but one stood out, Vicki Schroeder.
Schroeder passed away in January after her battle with cancer, but to remember her dedication to the chorus, the NHS chorus has decided to participate in Relay for Life in her memory.
