Donation will help make south end schoolhouse a reality

Coincidence is on the Santa Rosa Education Foundation’s side.

Part of the proceeds from tickets sold for the helicopter ball drop at the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s golf tournament Sept. 19 brought $1,250 for the foundation. But there was more to come.
The winning ball was purchased by Randy Sansom, chair of the Santa Rosa Education Foundation. Before the 1,000 balls were even dropped, Sansom joked with Jean Goodin, chair of the chamber’s education committee, that if his ball won, he would give all the money back.
