This decorated teacher and one-time administrator considers herself a life-long learner and now, thanks to a prestigious fellowship program, Moore is on the forefront of an initiative designed to recruit students into a field that she worries may soon be desperate for help.
Moore, a science teacher at Holley-Navarre Middle School, was accepted into the inaugural Siemens STEM Academy, a week-long program designed to foster what the Siemens STEM Institute called “student achievement” and “hands-on professional development.”
