Though some parents and students lament the loss of traditional electives in school curriculums across the board, school administrators at Holley-Navarre Middle School are banking on a new set of classes to enhance the student experience.
Four new classes have been added to the 2009-2010 school schedule – journalism, photography, yearbook and television production. And though most of them have long been offered as an extracurricular activity at HNMS, school administrators decided this year, they should be a more permanent fixture on the schedule.
