Something to smile about: Peers honor Sigurnjak

He whistles, smiles and laughs, and that was before his peers chose him assistant principal of the year for elementary schools.

David Sigurnjak of Holley-Navarre Intermediate School is known for his innovative ideas, collaboration and leadership, according to HNIS Principal Liz West. Voted on by his fellow assistant principals in elementary education, Sigurnjak says that it was an honor to be chosen by his peers.
