A proposed change to Florida’s Class Size Amendment could give school administrators more flexibility in managing the size of their classrooms.

The constitutional amendment proposed by state Sen. Don Gaetz, R-Niceville, and state Sen. Steve Wise, R-Jacksonville, would not repeal class-size limits, but would allow local educators to exercise what Gaetz termed  “common-sense flexibility” in a news release last week.
