Santa Rosa County school board making tough decisions

Tough decisions were discussed and implemented at the Santa Rosa County School Board’s meeting Tuesday, March 17.

The board approved terminating 104 support-staff positions and transferring 57 support staff throughout the district.
“This is where it gets tough,”  said Ed Gray, school board chairman.  “We’re talking about affecting 150-odd people and, although we know the point of this, I’m sorry about this.”
