That logic helped the Santa Rosa County School District edge out competition for a grant funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Coastal Services Center in support of the Gulf of Mexico Alliance. It will allow Navarre High School students enrolled in the marine biology and oceanography program to instruct younger students in Ocean Awareness Festivals at the new Navarre Beach Marine Science Station.
