Gaetz' bill would ease class size rules

The voter-approved mandate is scheduled for full implementation in the 2010-11 school year, which will cost the state another $1 billion, by some estimates.
Despite the state's anemic budget, some education advocates expect lawmakers to pony up the dollars and do what is required by law to lower class size.
