If a regional coalition is successful, defense contracting will join the military, tourism and real estate as major Northwest Florida industries.

“We are in the epicenter of activity for aerospace and defense,” said Jane Birdwell, founder of the Pensacola-based marketing firm Birdwell Photography and Multimedia.  “The picture keeps getting better and better.”
