Water board holds annual meeting, election

Holley-Navarre Water System will hold its annual meeting at 7 a.m. Jan. 15 in the HNWS board room to initiate voting for four board members.

Three directors will be voted for to serve a three-year term each, and one director will be voted in to serve out the remainder of Bill Sublett’s term of one year. Sublett resigned from the board of directors during a Dec. 18 HNWS board meeting, opening up an additional seat. Bryan Duncan, former board director, had initially entered his name as a candidate for another term, but also resigned during the Dec. 18 meeting.
