David L. Anderson of Nautilus Financial Strategies gave Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce members some business advice during the Chamber’s Nov. 30 Commerce & Coffee breakfast.
He told all the business owners and sales people to “get out of the convincing business.”
Anderson told members that sales was the easiest thing in the world if business owners would just let go and stop convincing. When a customer presents his or her concerns, Anderson said the best thing to say is “OK,” which makes the customer feel like you are on their side instead of arguing with them.
