Café 88 opens for business

After a long wait and much speculation, Café 88 is open for business in the Alpine Plaza off U.S. Highway 98.

The new café, the brainchild of Wendy and Eddie Ng, features coffee, lattes, cappuccino and blended frappe beverages as well as bagels, muffins, and Danishes.

The Ngs, who also own Hachi, have planned the new café for months. Working every night after Hachi closed, sometimes into the wee hours of the morning, the Ngs proudly opened their new venture on May 5.
