New eatery offers locally owned options

Restaurant options in Navarre are expanding with the opening of a new, locally-owned eatery called RBI Subs.

RBI recently opened in the building formally occupied by Lark’s Nest coffee shop. It is the brainchild of Navarre resident Maggie Fenster, who has been in the area since 1976. Fenster hails from New York City, which helps give RBI’s menu an east coast flair for locals and tourists alike.

Fenster has a long and extensive background in the food-service industry, but she wanted to open a shop that was family based and didn’t have corporate constraints. A second shop will be opening soon in the food court at the Santa Rosa Mall in Fort Walton Beach.
