The Blake opens doors for new residents

Glenn Barclay, owner and manager of The Blake at Gulf Breeze, first came up with the idea for the assisted living and retirement facility in 2004. Now the vision is a reality and residents are moving into their new home.

“We can’t wait,”  Robin Crum, executive director of The Blake, said recently.  “We’re so excited that our residents will be here (soon).”

The Blake passed all its inspections with flying colors, and residents began moving in Oct. 13.  There were 35 apartments already booked, with more residents expected soon.
