What may have been popular 10 years ago could be considered old-fashioned to some.
Business owners and entrepreneurs are constantly trying to stay ahead of the trend-curve. In an effort to highlight a few trends current in the business world, Larry Strain, Director of the Small Business Development Center at the University of West Florida, lead a discussion for members and guests of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, during the chamber’s June Jump Start Your Business workshop.
Strain noted that “going green” is on the rise. This included having organic options not only in food, but in packaging of retail items and household cleaners.
Being green is on the rise in the wedding industry and the wedding industry itself is on the rise again.
Couples are opting to have their invitations printed on recycled paper and buying gently used dresses, among other options, to reduce their footprint on the environment.
