Tourist Development Council hires intern to push Coastal Concierge

Tourist development officials are hopeful that Coastal Concierge will be up and running by the fall season.

The Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council hired a University of West Florida senior to do the leg-work necessary for the website’s launch.

“Last year, it was the least of our worries with the oil spill,” said Kate Wilkes, executive director of the TDC, of the program.

Coastal Concierge is a website designed to personalize a tourist’s vacation to Santa Rosa County.

Tourists are driven to the website via the county’s latest vacation guide, in which the coastal concierge logo was advertised.
