Navarre Chamber helps small businesses achieve internet presence

The rewards of owning a small business can be vast. There are many reasons why private citizens make the leap into the world of commerce and become business owners to satisfy a dream, to be your own boss or to take on a new challenge.

Owning a business may have perks, but it also comes with responsibilities. Every month, the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce offers a “Jump Start Your Business” workshop. These workshops are hosted by the chamber’s Small Business Development Council and are designed to assist small businesses in achieving their economic goals, according to Bill Arnett, president/CEO of the chamber.

May’s workshop is titled, “Improve Your Page Ranks with Enriched Web Content,” and will focus on how to make the most of web pages, as well as social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter. The event is scheduled to be held from noon – 1 p.m. on May 24.
