Limited funding available for new homebuyers

Funds are going fast and soon there won’t be anymore available to help first time homebuyers seal the deal on their first home.

Santa Rosa County participates in the State Housing Initiatives Partnership, according to Erin Lenn, housing program coordinator with the SRC Housing Assistance Program.

“It’s basically to help first time homebuyers or those who haven’t owned a home in the last three years with their down payment and closing costs,” Lenn said.
