Vatter installed as new chamber chairman

The red carpet rolled out for the business community of Navarre Saturday, Jan. 15. With the theme of "Hollywood Nights," the annual Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Installation and Awards Banquet focused the spotlight on some of the stars of the Navarre area.

The banquet, hosted at Soundside at Hurlburt Field, began with a presentation by Gordon Goodin on the late Charlie Brown

Cinnamon Holderman, the 2010 Chairman of the Board, spotlighted the board members completing their terms: Jean Goodin, Jeff Harris and Sandi Kemp.

New officers and directors were also introduced and installed.

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce 2011 Executive Committee includes: Tom Vatter, Chairman of the Board, Kool Breeze of Northwest Florida; John Hays, Chairman-Elect, East Bay Insurance Group; Jim Taylor, Vice Chair, Century 21 Island View Realty; Regina Carter, Secretary/Treasurer, Gulf Power; and Cinnamon Holderman, Past Chairman, Abaca Mortgage. 

In addition to the Executive Committee, the 2011 Board of Directors consists of Ralph Agnew, individual member; Cricket Andersen, Whitney Bank; NiCol DeBruicker, Baptist Medical Park Navarre; Susan Durfee, Get Tagged UR It; Sandi Eubanks, West Navarre Primary School; Linda Fusco, All Phase Cleaning Services; Tommel Johnson, Publix; Dr. Josh Pickett, Pickett Chiropractic; Mike Sandler, Hurlburt Chiefs Group; Kerry Anne Schultz, Fountain, Schultz & Associates; and Phillip Wright, Santa Rosa Medical Center.

After awards were presented, Holderman passed the gavel and installed the 2011 Chairman of the Board, Vatter.

Vatter closed the banquet with excitement about the coming year and the continued strengthening of the chamber.
