Project Snake Eyes has come up aces for Santa Rosa County.
The Clearwire Corp. – codename “Snake Eyes” to county economic development officials – announced last week that it will expand its Santa Rosa Industrial Park facility in East Milton and add 500 new jobs instead of relocating to another state.
“Five hundred jobs is good news in any economy,” said County Commissioner Lane Lynchard at the commission’s Aug. 12 meeting. “In this economy it’s a home run. And we saved 500 jobs.”
