County employee gets White House invitation

At first, Daniel Hahn thought the invitation was a joke.

9-4_BUS_HahninDC_pic.jpgThe request, sent as an attachment via e-mail, seemed too informal for an event hosted by the nation’s leader. Immediately, Hahn called a friend in the volunteer field for verification.
It was true.
Hahn was going to meet President George W. Bush at the White House on Monday, Sept. 8, for his remarks on volunteering.
