As part of the Beaches to Woodlands Tour, an annual county-wide campaign beckoning beach-goers to explore Santa Rosa County in its entirety, the Marine Biology Station held an open house Oct. 2, welcoming large crowds.
“This was a chance for students that are not in our classes and their parents to see what is in their backyard,” said Charlene Mauro Fearon, Navarre High School science teacher and station founder.
