DivorceCare for Kids

Nearly 50 percent of marriages end in divorce, but spouses aren’t the ones hurt most when a union fails. The children are.

Children with parents going through divorce face depression, acting out, poor school grades and dangerous behaviors, according to Neil Epler, executive pastor of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
“They deal with self-esteem issues and feelings of responsibility,”  he said.  “It affects them all the way around.”
