For a little more than 10 years, the Navarre Presbyterian Church has been supplying South Santa Rosa with one of fall's biggest fixtures: pumpkins.
This year, the popular pumpkin patch opened to the public on Sunday, offering all different sizes and shapes of the orange gourds.
"It's actually a fundraiser for the Navajo Native Americans in New Mexico," said Frankie Sublett, one of the event's organizers. "They grow the pumpkins and deliver them and whatever profit is made they get a percentage of it."
