Interfaith Ministries of Gulf Breeze has launched a new food purchasing program to replace Angel Food Ministries, which discontinued service in the area.
One Harvest Food Ministries will now provide boxes of food at reduced costs to area residents. The program is a once-monthly food purchasing opportunity to help provide quality, healthy foods for families without the high price.
“When the Angel Food organization ceased operations, we began to look for another organization similar to Angel Food that would provide quality food at a lower than market price for our community,” said Interfaith Ministries Executive Director Shirley Cornett.
“One Harvest Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational, faith based organization that is committed to helping American families,” says the organization’s website.
