Good Samaritan gifts church with prescription discount cards

The cost of prescription drugs is often prohibitively high for those who are either uninsured or underinsured.

Many people have made the choice between paying for needed medicines or paying for food or gas. In today’s uncertain economic climate, there are many who are struggling with the cost of prescription medications.

One good samaritan has recently stepped forward to help Navarre area residents obtain their medications at a discounted price.

The American Consultants Rx community service project has donated millions of free discount prescription cards nationwide to non profits, hospitals, schools and churches. Navarre United Methodist Church recently received a donation of 50 percent-discount prescription cards to help residents offset the cost of their medications.
