It’s hard to believe a 5-inch by 12-inch piece of metal adorned with just two words could evoke so much passion from citizens and lawmakers alike and yet the controversy over – and the attention drawn to – Florida’s “Choose life” license plate rages on, more than a decade after the plate was initially introduced.
Though it’s one of 114 specialty license plates in the state of Florida, the “Choose life” plate remains one of the most popular among motorists in the state and has netted more than $7 million for pro-life organizations and agencies.
