Building a church in a Third World country is no simple task, especially when hard economic times challenge the United States. Yet, congregants of Calvary Chapel remained steadfast to their commitment to help Haitian converts in Port de Paix.
On Jan. 25, after nearly three years, a dedication ceremony was held, celebrating the completion of a multipurpose church built south of the community’s major river. This enables children to attend school and residents to attend church when the river floods.
