Lucky find reveals NBLRA origin

The Navarre Beach Leaseholders and Residents Association marks its 34th year this month. The event almost went unnoticed but for a lucky discovery by NBLRA Treasurer Angela Veal.

“I was cleaning out a home for a friend of mine that had passed away,”  Veal said.  “Some dishes were wrapped with an old newspaper. The paper was dated February 23, 1975. The article stated that the Navarre Beach leaseholders had formed an organization (the NBLRA) in order to fight the taxes levied against them.”
