Beach Leaseholders advocate Charles Pack dies

Leaseholders advocate Charles Pack dies

Charles Howard Pack, 64, of Gulf Breeze, Fla., died Jan. 22, 2009. He was a longtime leaseholder and advocate for Navarre Beach.

“Charles Pack was the heart and soul of the original lawsuit against illegal taxation of Navarre Beach,”  said beach resident Judy Lewis.  “He and his wife, Terry, spent many hours with lawyers, in courts, tracking down leases and traveling to Tallahassee on our part. What was always amazing to me is that he did it with such a willing heart. I never saw him begrudge a moment of his time in this effort."
