Protecting baby birds key for park rangers

Park rangers will more strictly enforce beach rules to protect nesting birds along the Gulf Islands National Seashore.

Humans and dogs pose threats to the nesting birds and hatchlings, said Dan Brown, superintendent of the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
