County to consider beach hotel rezoning

Navarre Beach residents told Santa Rosa County Commissioners on Jan. 22 that they were concerned the potential rezoning of the former Holidome Hotel property would result in unwanted development on the beach.
Commissioners will hold a public hearing Jan. 24 regarding rezoning the Holidome property from Hotel Beach Navarre to Navarre Beach Commercial in order to be consistent with the current Land Development Code.
