In the spirit of the true-blue fishermen, children and their families arrived early Saturday morning, Oct. 6, for the third annual Take a Kid Fishing event held at the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier.
Event Coordinator Sheila Walker was hoping for at least 500 children and while that number wasn’t reached exactly, it sure was close.
